SR 3000 won't bind
 

Hello, I recently picked up a WGT car here on RCTech. Here are it's specs.

-Novak Havoc ESC with cooling fan. Cooling fan is total overkill since single cell set-ups never get hot.
-Novak SS 13.5T brushless motor
-Futaba S9602 steering servo
-Novak Voltage Booster
-SMC 1S 4000mah lipo pack. This has only 4 runs on it.
-Spektrum Receiver SR3000

I have no complaints at all, but I can't seem to get the receiver to bind to my DX3S. I turn on both switches on the car, make sure my radio is ready to bind, then hit and hold down the green button on the rx and the LED never flashes to tell me it's entered bind mode. However, when I turn the car on I do see the LED flash initially. I'm still fairly new to this whole hobby and while I have learned a fair amount already there is lots I don't know. Am I missing something obvious? Any suggestions to what I can try?

Turns out I need to be pushing the green button as I turn on the car. It's bound now! Sorry for wasting anyones time.
