hyperion eos0615,problems downloading?
 

Hi guys,I've just bought the new hyperion 0615 duo3. Unfortunately,this is with firmware 3.1. I'd like to download 3.2 version,but I'm not sure to do it because a friend of mine told me that with a duo2,during the download,it stopped working and he had to change it. Anyone of you had the same problem? Is there a 3.2 version on sale? Tnx for the answers,Paul

After the Firmware Update Manual on this page (which you should dnload and print for reference), the 3.2 update for DUO3 is the 2nd item listed. Hyperion suggests downloading it to your desktop - this step has no bearing on your charger or the update's success. Its just dnload the needed files for the update. If it stops dnloading, close it and re-try.

This part is simple.

I have a pair of older 610iNet chargers and have updated them several times and have never had any probs. Read the instructions, if you're uncretain at that point, either ask for help or find someone to help. Other choice is send charger back to a dealer that offers to do the update for you (for a price).

They sell the latest updated chargers as soon as they get shipped from the distributor who has to wait until they get them from Hyperion.

The 3.2 firmware was released Oct 3, but the only way to tell is to ask where you are looking at buying if they are selling the 3.2 or not. Bottom line, I don't really know.

You could try and contact the distributor Empire Hobbies and ask.

Do updates to firmware using a laptop computer so you don't have to worry about power glitches.
