I have an older Airtronics Caliber 3P and a Futaba MC330CR speed control. If you let off it. The brakes kick in. It doesn't coast at all I reset the 330 three times trims centered, max low and max high, no change. Even tried adjusting it out on the TX each time after reseting the speedo?

What you are experiencing is referred to as drag brake. I'm not familiar with that radio, but if you can't find a drag brake setting to soften try setting your throttle trim so the car barely creeps forward with the trigger at neutral. That should help. Also, stock motors have more natural drag brake than 19T motors, mod have even less.
