Lipo for newbies

So I'm starting to understand lipo but I still have a lot to learn. Can someone point me in the right direction such as a web site or something that explains everything lipo? Like what the benefits are, what all the numbers and letters mean and stuff.

Thanks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium...olymer_battery

This will teach you more then you will ever need to know about the cells.

^^^ Thats pretty good Steve, nice find. Like this says if you want more of the physics side, go to batteryuniversity.com (link in included in the above article).

RCGroups also has a thorough reference section and extensive discussion on lipo in their batteries and chargers thread under Aircraft-Electric -General forums but you may have to do a little digging.

Just what I was looking for. The rchelicopterfun.com was very good.

Thanks, I think I understand a lot more now.
