2.4GHz Transmitter Problem
Hey guys, this is probly most easily sorted however im really new to all this so just thought id ask for some advice.
I ran my rc car first time last nite for about 15 min or so with a 4000mah Lipo with full charge. However not long after, my V on the transmitter screen dropped to 9.3 from something like 10,5v and it continuously wont stop beeping, which im guessing is some sort of low voltage alarm? Anyone give me a lil insight on this? Thankyou. |
What radio are you using. Simply just sounds like a low voltage issue recharge the battery and go again unless the battery has a bad cell that caused it to drop.

Eurgle 2.4G RC System. i put the battery back on charge however its a 3 cell lipo and was only down to 3.6 -3.7 volts per cell. theres a lil plug that came with the system though with one black wire looping from negative to earth. Im not sure where to plug it though so i just stuck it in the reciever channel 3. It didnt come with a manual, was suppose to but. |
Looks to me like that is a bind plug. you dont need that except for when your radio and receiver unbind from each other. other than that im not sure test each individual cell in the battery,

Im not sure What should the Volts be generally sitting around on the transmitter screen? And should they usually drop that quick? Its a 4000mah battery, surely that should last a good 45 min or so shouldnt it on full charge? |
that size battery should last you a couple of days im not sure try contacting the manufacturer
|
i think you need to have the transmitter serviced. there is probably an internal defect.
|
I would pull that plug out and try running without it.

Sorted
Was a problem with the batteries actually in the transmitter. I replaced them with Varta Rechargables, normal batteries woudnt last. |
where did you buy your radio from?

The manual is not very well written. |
Yea you don't want to run with the bind plug in this thing that was your second mistake buying it was the first, has your steering mechanism fallen apart yet?
I'm sorry for coming off like a jerk or sounding like one but these things are pure crap got one and it was delivered on the first of March 2010,had it a total of maybe ten hours and something fell off inside the steering mechanism I'm assuming it was a spring inside as it will not carry back to neutral now. I spent over two months reading up on this radio system and read nothing but rave reviews of it no sooner had I purchased it,a third generation model all sorts of people came out of the woodworks complaining about one problem or the other:cry:. I assume you got as much of an answer from eurgle R/C electronics supply as I did on the matter which was no answer at all, contacted the seller and they proceeded to ask me to disassemble the radio and send them pictures of the inside in the emails sent to me were attachments of an eurgle radio of the same make as mine. One was taken from a screen shot of a windows media player showing another radio taken apart I assume this was a video sent to the seller form eurgle who I suspect knows all about the design flaws and defects that plague this radio:flaming: I contacted ebay about this request form the seller and long story short they had me speak with paypal and I was instructed to escalate my dispute to a claim,I had the manual for a couple months prior to buying the radio and if you have never owned a radio like this your screwed, but as luck would have it if you download a manual of a DX6i or the DX3R you will better understand the broken English in the manual for the eurgle. But at any rate anyone has been looking at one of these radios and has not made the purchase yet do yourself an favor save your money and get an Airtronics or lower end Spektrum which I decided against and now I'm very sorry I did. I've posted a review of this radio on youtube where the same person or store who sold me mine has a video in the response,or remarks part of the video someone posted saying something to the effect it was time to sell the Spektrum I'm hopping this guy was kidding |
