Default Anyone try the Thunder AC6 charger?

I would like your input on the Thunder AC6 charger/balancer or the Skycharger B6AC charger/balancer if you have bought one and can share how you like/dislike it.

Just bought one. My hyperion went... And after seeing 3/4 of the people at the local track with these, and the Turnigy 6. I think I will buy one. IT also seems as Lipo batteries are easy to maintain. Just use, charge, use charge, Balance when you want. I dont care what anyone says. To me! A charger is A Charger......

Which Hyperion? And what happened to it? From your other posts I don't think you've had it very long..

For those that have this what plugs/adapters does it come with? Did you have to modify anything to get it to work with your batteries? Thanks.

Thumbs up Thunder Charger Review...

I bought one about 3 months ago and it has been great, to say the least! I race 1/10 scale off-road, use only lipo's (qty 4, Reedy 2S, 35C, 5000mah) and it balances and charges as good as any higher priced AC/DC charger I found. I also use it to cycle/discharge/charge my Nimh AA's in my M11... It comes with about 6 different connector's, they are pre-soldered with a Dean's Copy-Cat plug so be careful, I switched them out with real Dean's to avoid any problems. In my opinion, it is worth every penny of $50 and I would do it again without hesitation!

Chances are the only difference between the cheaper lipo chargers(AC6 and Turnigy) and the expensive chargers, is the name on the top.

I have this charger. Great charger! Is there a way to make it charge to 8.44?

i have one as well...i absolutely love it! I wish it would discharge faster for us nimh users, but other than that, it's been great so far. one thing though....I hate heat and without a fan, it gets a little warm/hot....so I opened it up, tapped into the 12v lines coming out of the power supply (which is just one of the external plastic cased units stuffed in the charger lol) and hooked up a 120mm computer fan connected via deans plugs to it stays very cool now and im sure that'll prolong the life of the charger.

Cory Kerber, you're absolutely right. these are all the ones i found based off the same board (with or without the built in power supply) just on amainhobbies:

And my absolute favorite.......LOOK AT THAT PRICE!!!

I just got mine in Wednesday, I've only charged a couple of RX Packs though. My son has a RC18, and I'm going to be using a Lipo in my starter box, so I didn't want to spend $120+ on a charger/PS. So far this thing does what I want. It doesn't come with a charge plug for the Mini 1/18 plug, so I'll just have to make one

It's a good charger but keep in mind it's limited to 5A.
