need advice for esc/voltage
 

i have a tekin fxr esc on my scale rig [crawler]. limit on the esc is 3s lipo which is 12.6v peak voltage. i got alot of spare a123 cells and was thinking of using it. a123 peak voltage is 3.6 per cell as for lipo is 4.2 peak voltage per cell.
so my question is. could i run a 4s a123 on the esc? i know they do this on the mamba max esc,when they use a 4s lipo when the esc is limited to 3s.

on my situation im using a 100t brushed motor. so im playing with a 1.8 volt higher than the limit.

3s lipo = 12.6 max

4s a123 = 14.4 max

im not stressing this. its just a thought i had

my gutt feeling is it will work. because im using a 100t motor. but im too chicken to try it. let me know what you guys think before i smoke my esc. haha
