DX3S or receiver problem?
I swapped out some screws on the car for some nicer looking units. After reinstalling the radio tray I check the trims to make sure everything was in the right locations (servo horns were removed) and all was well. I decided to reroute the transponder leads and when I plugged it back in I didnt have any signal from tx to rx.
When powered up, the receiver will take the servos to their failsafe positions. The tx doesnt indicate any errors. I have the transponder plugged into the bind/rs (remote start) and thought perhaps something happened to the bind. I hooked up the bind plug, the amber light on the rx blinked slow a couple times and then starts rapidly blinking. I press bind on the tx, it blinks a few times and stops but the rx continues to blink rapidly rather than showing a solid amber light as indicated in the manual. Any ideas? |
There's something wrong with your RX, I had that heppened to me when I purchased a new one and pulled out of the box to find out it would not bind from the start, so I sent it back and they sent me back a new unit, just unfortunate it did not work for that race night , had it hours before I went to the track and did not check it, but Spektrum to care of my product and shiped me another unit when they recvd the other.

Make sure you don't have the polarity reversed on your receiver pack.

On the bright side, I bought a DX3R  Sure like the size of that rx better). I'll send the tx and rx in this week and have a back up should something happen to my new radio. |
