HELP Airtronics Caliber 3P

I bought this used setup to put in my 1/12 scale, it doesnt work. It came with the 27 & 75mhz transmitter modules, an original 92736 75mhz reciever, several 27mhz crystalsand one set of 75mhz crystals. I tried a bench test with a futaba servo in channel 1, a duratrax esc in 2 and 6cell to the esc nothing. Is the wiring order different ( pos, neg, signal) on Airtronics than Futaba and all the plugs are vertical, so is the signalwire on top or bottom?

I believe on the old Airtronics radios you have to swap the pos & neg wires. I had a caliber years ago and that was the case.
Also remember if you ever go to newer radio gear to swap the wires back.
I had a car sit on the shelf for a few years and went to put new stuff in it and forgot about the wires and cooked a new receiver. :(

Some one should be along to confirm this.
