Receiver pack discharge rate.

Could anyone suggest a suitable discharge rate for 1600mah, 6V, 5 cell NIMH reciever packs please?

And would you use the same discharge rate when cycling a new battery?

Thank you!

I would stay between .5 and 1 amp for discharge, which will take 1-2 hrs to empty the pack.

^^^ +1

I've typically use 1amp as a disch rate for rx pacs. New, I might use less depending on how hot the cells were getting. I cycle mine at 1amp both charge and disch, 3 cycles and the charge/disch mah gets very close to repeating so thats as good as they're going to get.

Brilliant, thanks!

And what is the minimum cell voltage that the packs should be discharged to? As far as I know you don't empty (towards 0V) the pack RC Dad?
