Mess with endbell timing on brushless?

Just curious if anyone messes with end-bell timing on brushless, or do you stick to the ESC software for timing adjustments?

I was playing around and got what it seems more RPM just messing around with the end-bell, but have not run the vehicle as such.

Maybe it's best to leave it at 0, or dead even at the mark on the can?

I'm using a Losi Xcelorin sensored ESC on Orion Motors.

I've only run Castle motors and a few Medusas and they don't seem tyo be able to be adjusted, the holes are fixed and there's no reference marks or graduations like on a brushed motor. Its esc to adjust timing. Castle's motors seem to run on the hot side and I wouldn't want to make it any worse. They make enough power that its a prob enough as it is, lol!

Yeah, this would seem to pertain only to the sensored stuff, I believe.

It works for me just as expected. With higher timing I get a tiny bit more top speed and more heat, with lower it runs cooler.
