Voltage is not the main issue with lipo storage..:sneaky: All my lipos get stored at 8.4v (2S) but that's not always full. I set my Hyperion store mode to 80% and all my packs are at 8.4v when they are at 80%...So to say that the volatge is too high for storage isn't 100% correct.

the higher the 'c' rating like a 40c battery the less they like to be full...seriously I have seen ones full for 2 days that got puffy

lower c batteries seem to be more ok with being full, I have a 24c and a 28c that have benn full 2 week no issues

I have been fully charging mine for some time, 10 months or so and have not had one get puffy from that. They sit from sunday till fri, sat,or sun again till they get used. 3 different manufactures, good brand names.

I have had one get puffy from charging it hot after a run and not letting it cool before charging. My mistake $130 down the drain.

I'm not buying that that's the reason they puffed:rolleyes:. There would be posts all over the place about it, I would guess those packs had issues other than sitting for 2 days at 100%:weird:
