steering throw problem HS 7955 TG?

I changed the steering linkage on my AX10 and went to reset the throws and found out I have a problem. I am getting half the throw to one side? I have one side at 75% and the other at 150% just to get the throw equal, and It isn't enough.

I am using a DX3R and can't find a reason in the radio for this limit.

I reversed the throw in the radio and it was limited on the other side?

I don't know if this is what happens when the servo is on it's way out or some internal programing I can change?

Any Idea's?

Do you have a lot of trim to get straight steering?

Does the servo move an equal amount with left/right both set at 100 and trim at 0? To determine if it is a servo/radio issue, or is the reworked steering linkage unbalanced.

That's what Im talking about, with the trim at zero one side has twice the throw as the other at the same setting. If I reverse the steering channel it does the same thing the opposite way. So right now I have one side at 150% and the other at 75%. in another screen the radio shows a number and the 150% side showing over 2000 and the 75% showing 950.

It seems like that would make it the radio but my other crawler with the same servo doesn't do it, it's equal on both sides with the same radio.

It's a common RC issue - your servo isn't centered correctly. Take off the servo horn (arm), turn on the truck so your steering servo can move itself, set your radio trims back to 0, put the horn back on with the wheels straight. Even if you're linkage is uneven this should get you much closer.

Not quite, with it at zero trim I have double the throw to one side? I thought the center would make the difference so I put full opposite trim and the difference is still huge.

It is usable like that but I want more throw on the short side. I have another servo and was going to swap them to see if it's the signal from the radio or the servo. I looked on Hitech's web site and saw that the 7955 has internal EPA, I was thinking that somehow that got changed.
