lrp x12 problem
 

I have been using a lrp xxxtc spec speed controller and x12 5.5t motor in my b44 for a couple races with no problems. i switch it to my sc10 and ran 24/84 gearing, and it was running very hot @ 210 and gave out. I now notice they sell a front vented cover for them will this help enough to get me in the green or will I have to gear up on the pinion? the set up was great.
