It's great upgrade.. nice looking black brownish color with 5 spokes chrome wheels.. you will definetely like it. We have not even got a change to put them on our display when they arrived 2 weeks ago as all of them aleady paid in advance by the customers... like you I guess

Strange...the temp sensor board clearly only show 1 sensor...how does it work out the temp of the other 5 cells??

Ti version I though the black version was the only new version coming out... Also waiting for the synthesized receivers and TX module to come out in March/April.. no more crystals..!

Ti=Black......because they kept with the anodized finish....the final colour is darker than Ti but not quite black!

I thought the same thing, but that may be for regular charging, for advanced features they may use single cell probes like the Yokomo charger.

I hope they go for the Black plastic on the side for the production model. The chrome finish on the other CR models kinda makes the unit look really cheap......

Not bad for an Apex OEM bit of kit!!

"Optional Thermo Stand provides quick and easy peace-of-mind.
* Checks each individual cell's temperature, mAh rating and voltage level, so modelers know precise battery status.
* Plugs right into the side port of the CDR-5000 charger.
* A great way to verify whether or not packs are matched!"
