Battery pack for M11???

i just got an M11...and it's got a NICD pack for it...but i'd prefer to get a lipo, or even a NIMH for it. What are some cheap packs for it? I'm not worried about a cheap lipo...i've run cheap in almost all my rc's and never had an issue..i just want cheap for my radio.

Maxamps is having a sale on the M11 Li-Po. It's $29.99 and I believe it's 2500 mah 11.1V.

Ok, Ive been researching for 4 days now and Ive always read that the m11 need a 3 cell 11.1v lipo pack but on amain site they say this one will work with the m11 perfect. ProTek R/C Li-Poly 3C Stick Receiver Battery Pack (7.4V/2100mAh) (No Balance)

this is for the m11x, not the m11. m11x runs off 6 volts.

Thanks bro, that makes sense.

Can the 2.4 gig receiver handle an unregulated LiPo reciver pack like the Spektrum or Nomadio ? Or is a regulator still required ? Thanks.

i've been running my m11 off the 3s maxamps pack for over a month now with no issue. only had to charge it 2 times so far too!

you shouldnt have to charge your lipo anymore than once every 2 months. and thats using it everyweekend for 6 hours a day.

GSRswapandslow 10-02-2009 01:28 PM

i had to charge it once when it came....just cause i wanted to, the 2nd time was at the end of the month...and i re-charged it. it's never been below 11.1v though haha! cutoff is 9v on the m11, well the alarm or whatever, and i never came withing 2v of that! i was using my daily for about 3-4 hours, and then close to 8 on weekends. I was running my 2.0-e, my crawler, and then had it bound to my buddies slash and anothers sc10 so i can run them too, since i sold mine.

if anyone's on the edge over getting a 3s pack for their m11.....JUMP, DO IT, BUY IT. It's so nice to never have to worry about aa's or a ni-cd pack dying....charge it up every 2 months or so....and just go! I love it
