because my friend needed a radio and was willing to pay a dumb amount of money for it. So I sold it to him for what he offered. I only used it for about a month, and at the time, I saw no advantage to it over my xs3. So I sold it to him. Then I stumbled across and m8 deal with a novak switch, so that is what I am using now. But yesterday, I landed a NIB module and receiver for a good deal so now I am waiting on that.

The dx3.0 and xs3 are almost identical. It is just one is synthesized and the other is 2.4.

It is definately harder to find used Airtronics receivers. What I like about their stuff is there standard receivers are smaller then spektrum.I have also heard they have plans for more receivers coming out so a even smaller receiver and or one that might be cheaper. With their new mx sport radio I imagine they are taking the stance they did when the mx3 came out years ago.Cut the profit margin and make up for it in volume.I can sell 5000 radios at 150.00 to make 750,000 or I can sell 10000 radios at 100.00 and make a 1,000,000 plus those people who buy a 10 model radio are more then likely going to buy extra receivers. Plus if you read up on the range ot the new mx sport it is like 1200 feet! I am going to buy one for my daughters car when they become available again.I like the fact I can bind it up to my m11x if I want to play and adjust on it.

Dx3s is a good option. It really has alot going for it and is compatible with all spektrum recievers. I use a airtronics m11 with a spektrum pro module.

I had a dx3.0 and it was terrible, the menu is a pita and the trigger is long.

Yeah, the DX3s is a nice piece of kit, and cheap enough, especially if you can grab the combo with a second reciever in it.
