Urgent - M11X issues. Please help

I have just got my m11x
I have binded my first receiver and set all the settings and all was great until

I have tryed to bind another receiver and I now have 2 receivers bound to the same model
I have tryed to delete the model by holding +/- on the copy/clear section and all it did was copy the model
So now I have 2 models that are useless

The next problem I am having is that when I go to models to try and select a different model it keeps saying "display model only" WTF does that mean?

Why won't it let me change models?
Why can't I delete a model?
Is there a master reset so I can just start again?

I can see that this is a great radio and it should do more than I'll ever need, but ATM it's not doing anything I want

I have tryed holding the display button accross for 3 seconds and it does nothing.
I have tryed holding the +/- to bring up the clear option and it does nothing

Have I just got a dud or something

power off your radio then hold down the display button then go to the model setting from there you should be able to change to different model. hope it helps.

Look at the upper right side of transmitter for the display switch...

so how do unbind a receiver?

TIX 07-24-2009 06:41 PM

I have cleared all the models from the radio and both the receivers are still bound to the radio. and if they are both on they are both moving at the same time

Im new to the Sanwa/Airtronics radios. is this normal?
On my old radio you could only control i receiver at a time

This is really starting to piss me off.
why cant i defult the radio and start again. there has to be a way to do it!!!

You were going to bind both to the radio anyway I do not see a problem? I have never had 2 cars on at the same time with the radio to see if there is an issue but I would imagine one would not work. When you bind receiver to radio you are binding them has nothing to do with model. The model settings are in radio and it is just comunicating those to receiver.

I tried to read the manual to help you out , but I don`t even understand what your asking.

Nothing in the instructions about unbinding ...

the only way you can change setting`s on any model is to switch the display on first...

Just set your vehicles in each of the model slots and adjust your settings as normal. Binding your reciever just 'matches' the radio to the reciever. The models are just the unique different settings you have for your different vehicles or just one. Two completely differently things. When you get a new radio or sell on of your reciever, you or they just rebinds to their system.
