whats the difference between the Sr300 and the SR3000? other than about $20 :lol: they are both listed as a 3ch DSM. Just curious. does the Sr300 work with the Dx3.0 ? i have 3 SR3000 and i need a 4th but the LHS is out of the Sr3000

They are basically the same... the SR300 is Spektrum's "budget" receiver... for the $10 less, you will need to use the "binding" plug (instead of an onboard button) and it does not work with their "telemetry" package... not a big deal though..

This appears to be the same receiver Losi sells with their RTR/BND kits.. MRX-3000 (LOSI B0806)... for $5 less than the SR300

All 3 receivers are DSM 1.0 and will work with all Spektrum transmitters and modules (for ground use).

The MRX 3000 is the SR300 with a different sticker.

strange the sr300 is cheaper than the losi up here. thanks for the help on this one guys... spent a good chunk on RC lately i think its about time i try to cut some spending if i can, this seems to be a good place to start haha

The budget one probably doesnt have as good of dust and water resistance, and one of the things they dont say is response times-latency. I would think the budget one is not as fast as the others. Lets face it, they are not gonna just slap a new label on it and drop the price 20 bucks to be nice.

I need used it on SPM1210 SPEKTRUM Pro Micro Receiver 3-Channel Rx.

The SR3000 is a transceiver in all actuality.. they just call it a receiver so we know what its most commonly used for. It is compatible with their telemetry system. The SR3000 isn't really all that dust and water resistant... it can fill up with dust, sand, crud and water like any other receiver...

As for latency.. they are DSM1.0 the slowest of the Spketrum DSM options.. Just remember that you need the module/tx to be at least the same version or higher DSM for them to work together! They are cheaper because they do less.. they don't talk back to the module/transmitter with telemetry. They also don't have the built in binding button.. they use the plug.

I've only used the binding plug once when I used my tx with a buddy's car.. you just stick it in one of the rx plugs and it goes into bind mode when powered on. No biggy. All 3 of my current rx are SR3000.. owned a total of 5 at one time or another. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't use a SR300 or Losi MRX-3000 if I needed another receiver. Especially since I'm not using the telemetry add-on.
