Dynamite vision peak ultra issue

I just purchased this charger yesterday and I am trying to get my batteries charged but when I go to charge the battery the little battery charge meter on the LCD will come up like it is supposed to and it will start charging but only a few seconds later the LED light will come on and start flashing and it seems like it just stops charging. So I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue before or if it was just me.The charger and battery is brand new and I am charging the battery at 2.0 amps and it is a 7.2v 3300mah.I have the charger set on the proper battery type as well so I am not sure as what is going on.

Assuming your 3300 is discharged, it should be getting hot while charging. If its not, charger may be false peaking - it's seeing what it thinks is the peak in voltage that occurs when batt is completely charged. Then charger turns off. If this is whats going on, just reset and try charging again. False peaks are common.

Your charger could be false-peaking, but I know this charger has a boost mode for the first few minutes that should override any false peak. I would really like to know what the voltage of the pack is reading before, during, and after charging.

Well when I plug the battery in it reads 5.85v and when it starts to charge it just jumps a few volts but since the charge only goes for a few seconds then shuts off it starts to drop down to 5.75v and continues to drop.

It sounds like 1-2 bad cells in your battery. Try charging at 330 ma for 15 hrs and then use normally.

I am sure it is not the battery since I have tried 6 other batteries ranging from 3300mah to 1600mah.It does the same thing with every battery I try.So it is diffently something with the charger I might run it up to the LHS and try and get another one.

Could be. I was going by the voltage listed since 6 cells if charged even a slight amount should jump right up to over 7.2 volts. Each cell should read 1.2 volts even when empty and resting.

How about trying it on DC power? Maybe the charger isn't charging even a few seconds. Can you try a wall charger at around 330 ma ? or another charger? A 1 day old charger that doesn't work should be returned/replaced by the seller.

Ok I hooked up both my 3300mah batteries and they read 7.3v and 7.1v and my 1500mah and 1600mah read around 5.6v and 4.8v.
