Default Airtronics 92724 Handle 7.4V?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Airtronics 92724 2.4ghz receiver can handle 7.4v of power.

I keep having switch failures and I'm wondering if I can plug directly into the receiver...

Thanks!
