Transponder inside RX box.

hi all,
i'm waiting for my AMB transponder to arrive and i've got this question:

will the AMB still work if it's installed inside the receiver box? :weird:

thanks. ;)

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't.

It will work but I had mine mounted vertically in the receiver box and the track counter was placed near a jump, sometimes I would not get counted. If you can lay it horizontal it will be picked up easier.

If the signal wil not be passing down thru metal or carbon fiber it may work for you in the receiver box.

what exactly do you mean?
receiver boxes are plastic only. or you mean if there's a metal or cf plate above the rx box it might not work? :weird:
