9V into regulator

hi guys,
just a quick question: can a 6v regulator handle a 9v battery?

can nemo handle jaws?????

i think what he meant is that a 6v regulator will give an output of 6v, but what will be the input voltage limit?

example: i'll need to use a 6v regulator for receiver if i'm using a 7.4v lipo.
if using a 9v battery, will the regulator able to handle this input to output 6v?

How many people can ride in a bus?

It depends completely on what regulator you have, Castle Creations BEC will regulate 25.2V with no problem.

You can use a LM7806 very simple circuit without a heat sink. I use 7805's for my electronics projects prototyping using a 9v battery. Do a Google for the data sheet to see if it meets your requirements.
