charger help!

Iam new to the R/C world and I have a SuperBrain 959 and a Prophet Plus LCD.
my question is which charger is better or better suited for a novice?

running only 7.2V 6 & 7 cell flat pack Ni-MH batteries.

Both are peak type chargers, AC/DC and will handle the number of cells.

Prob the SB959 - it has more available charge rates letting you better tailor the charge to the batt capacity, age and condition. These had a rep for getting hot though, that may be something you want to watch out for.

yes they do get pretty hot, i was just at the local hobby store where they sell the prophet and he said the 959 is a few years old but a very good charger and recommended it over the prophet, so he is going to walk me through it.
