Venom smart temp on a brushless system

Any benefit or detriment to using one on my buggy..Neu motor and a mamba monster esc..I have the smart temp left over from my nitro stuff and i like the heat temp feature..I doubt if the voltage failsafe feature would work on a lipo set up but im not sure,thats why im asking..Thanks..Anyone try this out?..Thank you
