Hey guys- I have a novak xbr sport esc and was wondering if I could use this with a excelleron or a velineon motor in a 1/10 scale stadium truck. Thanks

It will work with them, along with brushed motors too.

They do need to be sensored motors, 8.5 or higher. Not familiar with the velineons, but the xcelorins are available in both sensored and non sensored.

Make sure you have the xbr set up right, on brushless, before trying it.

I think the excelleron is a sensor less motor and the velineon is also. So this probably wouldnt work?

Nope, read the details a little better on the ESC and Novak says brushed and sensored brushless motors, so no, it would not.

xcellorin sensored motors will work.
