AMB Personal Transponder Problem
 

Hello All,
My T4 took a hard hit into the concrete last week,and now my transponder has quit counting. The light comes on. I tried moving it in the truck,even tried hanging it off the side of the chassis to see the track directly-no luck. Everyone at the race track is scratching their head on this one. Has anyone ever had a transponder die after a hard wreck? Thanks,Jeff

If the light comes on but it does not count, it has become internally damaged. About the only thing you can do is send it into AMB for repairs. They will not actually repair it, but likely will give you a discount on a new replacement one based on how old yours is.
