HS-6635HB FOR STEERING?

I just bought the hitec HS-6635HB servo for steering duties in my NT1. Will it be suitable or should i use it for my throttle servo.

I see that they say the gears are as strong as metal gears but don't suffer the backlash and slop that are more common with metal gear servos. The gears remain free and smooth. Is this true and does anyone else use one and if so what for?

Thanks in advance

I just got it today but i can't see anywhere that it says it's ok to use as a steering servo in a 1/10 nitro tourer. Can anyone please help, i want to finish the installation and get racing again;)

Some details i have found are:

4.8v=5kg @0.18 sec

6v=6kg @0.15 sec

Is a 6kg servo with karbonite gears ok to use for steering or would it be more suited as a throttle servo? I can't remember what my old steering servo was rated at.

Thanks in advance

it should be fine as long as your receiver is passing the full 6v. Otherwise it might seem a little slow
