DX3.0 E-maxx help!?!?
Hi, I recently purchased a DX3.0 radio and a sr3000 receiver. I hooked it up and everything and realized that the sr3000 only has one input for the steering servo and the e-maxx uses dual steering servos. So i bought a Y connector to solve this problem. Now when i use the DX3.0 I only get about 80% of the motion on the servos. Which hinders the the ability to take sharp turns. Ive fooled around with the settings on the controller for hours with no avail. I was wondering if someone could supply some much neeeded help.
Btw, when i connect the Stock tx/rx i get full range on the servo. Could it be that the servos are drawing to much power on that single input? |
Do the servos sound like they're turning slower?
Do you have an RX pack you can test it with? The two channel 1s on the stock RX are pretty much the same as a y-harness... Your Y-Harness might have a loose wire or something somewhere along the line... |
Yea, the servos seem less powerful when i use the spektrum radio. I don't have any other spare receivers to try it with that use 2.4ghz. I only have the stock unit supplied with the e-maxx ( which is AM frequencies ). Sorry im new to this.

Check your EPA and dual rates. Max both out to 125% and see what happens.

Push button B forward (towards the throttle trigger) and make sure it's at 100%
