M11 Question O.o
sup everyone! can I put my old skool M8 FM RFmodule in my M11? the M11 has 2.4GHz module in it but just wondering if I could switch from MHz to GHz. . .
|
No harm in trying. I can't remember off-hand, but I know that one of the radios has more module pins than the other, so it may not physically fit.
|
You should be able to run the same module in both the M8 or M11 without any problem.

thanks trips for the good info.. are you 100% sure? or?... |
The worst that could happen is that it won't work. It's not gonna spontaneously combust or fry anything or whatever.

The m8 modules will work ...just make sure it has 8 pin holes......if im correct early modules had 6......but they will work in the m11
|
Bingo you are right on that early versions had 6 pins compared to 8 for m11.If your module only has 6 let me know I might have extra one laying around somewhere

I have a M11 that came with the dss. Then I picked up a 75mhz and 27 Mhz modals from novak. when I received the modals I quickly fund out the only have 6 pin holes when my M11 has 8 pins!! Broke out the Dremal and added two more holes. Now they work fine. so you shouldn't have a Problem
