Accidental short
 

So i was just soldering together a TRX connector for my battery and the two leads touched each other for a split second causing a spark... is this battery ruined?

no

Phew thanks, thought i lost $25

Believe me, when you short and ruin one, you'll know it!! That puts on quite a show, batt gets very hot and melts the shrink and may even melt solder off connections where wires are attached to the cell tabs.

Last lipos I bought came with little terminal covers that prevent anythimng from shorting out, first timne I've seen that.
