Lipo on Flight.
Hi all, I am new on Lipo and I might plan to get/ buy Lipo from oversea. I would like to know can I put the Lipo in my check-in luggage? Will it cause any danger during the flight? Please advise and thanks.

Ask your airline company or check their site..............

There should be no danger in taking a LiPo on an airplane. The only way a LiPo is dangerous is that if you over charge them they can explode. However, the Airlines are pretty cautious as to what they allow on the planes now. I would imagine that a LiPo run through the xray machine during check-in security might be a problem. It MIGHT look like some kind of explosive to the security people.

Lipo doesn't have enough lithium to be classified as hazardous. You can fly with it, but you'll have to do whatever the particular carrier wants you to do to be allowed to fly with it. Give them a call and make sure they understand it is a "toy car battery".
