You don't really need a high torque servo in a 1/10th scale touring car...
I've been pretty happy with my Hitec 965MG, it works great in my Yokomo, and just as good in my Jato

futaba 9551 is a good servo. its fast and it takes up very little space in your car.

So there are many servos that are "digital", "high torque", "ball bearing", and "metal gears", but one will be $50, and another $150. What is the difference between them?

Hows this JR servo for TC racing?

oh i forgot to mention, price doesn't bother me.

I've seen a few futaba 9551's, do they have any problems with centering?

The main problem i had with the hitec is it wouldn't always center, i would have a big crash and it would be thrown off. Then if i came back to it after a bit it would be fine.
