Servo, ESC ??
 

Hi all, About to buy a new SC10 and electronics to suit. Possibly a basher with a bit of racing. Was initially thinking of the Traxxas Waterproof Servo and LRP Ai Waterproof ESC - for the waterproof bashing qualities.

What are the Traxxas Servos like? The specs look similar to some US$80-$100 servos, but they're only US$35-. Any recommendations on other mid-priced servos suitable for the SC10/Slash style truck.

Also the LRP Ai, with no set up available, would I be better buying something like one of the Sphere's? Any other mid priced ESC's recommended?

I will initially be putting a 13.5 in it running with a Spektrum DX3S and Lipo's.

Re-thinking things, for the sake of a better Package that's going to do the job, I could probably stay away from the water - but I also don't want to spend too much.

Change of plans......?????

Been thinking of the Tekin RS ESC with the Redline BL Motor, together with a Hitec 5625 Servo.

I currently run a LRP TC Spec and X-11 Motor in my on road car. How does the Tekin package compare to the LRP package? Is there any problems interchanging motor brands with ESC brands?

Hitec servos ok????
