HOT SERVOS???
 
I have a spektrum z270 as my throtle on my jammin x1 that is hovering at 102-110 degrees out of the car is there a short in possibly or is this something i should worry about? Its hooked up by a 6v 1600 mAh NiMh battery pack through the spektrum sr3100. Any answers are welcome please Help

I'd say you need a stronger servo for this application. The Z270 only has 49 oz/in of torque @ 6v. I'd use at least the Z590 for throttle and something stronger for steering. Try one of the JR digital servos for steering.

Yeah I use JR servos for steering but this was sent with another kit guess your right I'll step up to jr on throttle also. Thanks, any idea why she was heatin up though?

I forgot to mention the Z270 from spektrum is actually a re badged JR servo. The reasons for the heat could be the lack of torque and holding power the 270 lacks in order to work in a 1/8 scale application, also double check the end point settings on the radio. If the servo is trying to pull farther than it needs to.
