I'm new to electric and I'm not ready for lipo's yet, What would be a better buy a 4200 DTX 7 cell nimh or a Venom 6 cell 5000. I can get them for the same price just wondering what would be better. This is just for back yard racing. Thanks

Well the 7-cell battery is gonna make your car/truck go faster because it's a higher voltage (8.4V vs 7.2V).

The 7-cell has less capacity, but not much less.

Of those 2 choices, I'd go with the Duratrax batt. Make sure your esc can handle the extra cell.

Slash esc will run either 6 or 7 cells.
