Are the red ones SCR 1200's or are they the newer 1400's? And I remember the PUSHED packs, can't remember who made em' though. never saw the white ones. Are the black ones SC 1700's???
Heh had to pray like hell to make a 4 minute main with the 1200's |
I remember the red ones, they are 1400scr if my mind serves me correctly as I once had a set of them... :)
The black ones to the far left in the second picture are possibly 1700scrc, while as the silver ones are Sanyo 2000. (scrc as well i think?) :) I still have some 1700/2000 kicking around in storage too. |
Yes the red ones are the 1400's The Yellow are 1200's :D I have a few of those somewhere, just not sure about where haha. Yea the black ones are 1700's and I have like 15 of the sanyo 2000's haha. When those came out you were hot stuff! 4 Min MoD? YeS PLZ!! I have some old 2400's now yuo were really the Sh!t with those!!
Edit: Oh and Pushed was put out by Trinity if I remember correctly. |
Billy at B&T always had good 2000's :) I remember my first "good" pack was a set of Trinity Pushed 1400's. Man, 1992 seems so long ago now :( Thanks for making me feel old dude!

The yellow ones I have from the '80s are 1700SCE. Those are really sensitive to care for. Was still using a few for a motor bump pack until recently when I went brushless.
My 1200SCR batts from that time frame are red, same as the 1400SCR. These are the ones we used to charge in something like 12 minutes. (Edit, I just saw a '80s picture of yellow 1200SC. The SCR is a higher charge/discharge capability I believe) If cared for correctly and occasionally rematched they would get stronger with use. Matchers would cycle them aggressively several times before matching, the 'pushed' process. Still have them, maybe 30-35 packs. Ah, yes the good ol' days, no warm up laps for sure! Ready (buddy turns car on), Set (bud sets car down), GO! |
Ahhh i remember those for Electric Drag racing LOL
Drain the crap out of them and charge em up in like 10-15 min and drain them down again LOL |
Yea, I love when I find things like this out in the shed with my old racing stuff, I wish I could find my yellow 1200 packs. I know there around somewhere, I was pretty suprised when I ran across them. Yea B&T made some great packs, I have Soooooo many of them haha.
