Thoughts on Best Brushless Speed Control

I am getting more into the 1/10 scale racing with brushless setups and i want to know what is the best speed control. I have a LRP Sphere and I like it very much but I am interested in buying a couple more and would like to know which would be the fastest. There really isn't a motor range either basically 4.5 to 17.5 I will also be running lipo batteries. Thank you!!

I run the Sphere and I love it. Your best bet would be to pick up a couple more of those.

tekin RS pro, PC programable/upgradeable, supper easy on board programing, smaller, no need for a heatsink/fan:nod:

In March LRP are releasing the SXX it is meant to be better than the TC Spec

I've had good luck with the Venom 120A ESC. You can get it with a motor and ESC for about $209....depending on where you shop. Comes with a hand held programmer that makes set up easy! It is made by the same company that makes the SpeedPassion esc's for Schumacher.

A few guys at our dirtoval are having issues with the lrp stuff. It seems they don't handle the lower wind motors very well when used in this type of racing. I think if running offroad or carpet where your off the throttle more they are fine. The speedpassion or Tekin will handle about anything you can throw at them. I use Speedpassion and It is tough as hell. I have overgeared a 3.5 to the point that the wires got so hot they came unsoldered off the speedo and still didn't hurt it !

Tekin RS or RS PRO. they are small,no cooling fan and they are sensored.
If the sensor wire isn't connected and you are using Tekins redline motors. You won't burn it up the motor if the sensor wire disconnect. There is a sensor in the speed control and also a sensor built in the motor too.

Something more to think about.
