Well i was looking at novak's site today and saw that they have come out with new motors. I havent seen a thread on here about it so everyone just talk about the motors. And i think that these motors look awsome the design is pretty sweet.

These look pretty sweet! I like the tabs and sensor wire options too. They will fit much nicer into 4wd cars.

Nice idea but IMHO it is an ugly motor

they are ugly, but I like the way the sensor wire plugs in, and the way it looks, you can rotate it to any position

I looked at the specs and why is the 8.5 kv/rpm ratings lower than before. I thought the current 8.5's were 5800 and now the ballistics are 5000? Anyone know the answer? Thanks

Our Kv rating for the SS8.5 Pro and EX 8.5 Sport (discontinued) motors has always been 5000 Kv:

If the EX 8.5 Sport is discontinued.... what does the Havoc come with?

The Havoc Sport 8.5 system comes with an 8.5 motor with a sintered rotor (motor not sold separately). The Havoc Spec systems feature our ROAR approved SS Pro Spec motors. The EX Sport motors had bonded rotors.

If you have a choice between two things same specs etc You go for the better looking one (Not only in RC )

Its more like you don't buy something cause it is ugly but that was a opinion-Not trying to start anything
