Default Airtronics MX-3 FHSS Discontinued?

Is this radio no longer available? It's out of stock everywhere and Towerhobbies lists it as Discontinued.

All right i'm almost certain it is now; Towerhobbies lists it as discontinued, Amainhobbies just took it off their products list and any other online store is out of stock.

I believe it's being superseded by the next generation MX-3 FHSS G (aka FHSS2)

The Japanese (AKA Sanwa) version has been available in Asia for the past month. Expect the American (AKA Airtronics) version to follow soon.

Looks like that model will use the same system as the M11 which is DSSS the original used FHSS.

MX-3G is possible ,my rep at the distributor said there was a new version coming, but no details given. Some one else said that the new MX-3 will have the same reciever as the M11,so the MX-3G makes sense.Still to answer the question, NO! the mx-3 is not discontinued just getting an upgrade.

Default Must have been lucky?

Maybe I lucked out then? .. I just got mine from Tower Hobbies about 3 weeks ago ...

Being new to RC and not having anything to really compare to but the crap starter a.m. radio that came my Slash I am really loving my MX-3FHSS...

I hope it is not discontinued .. Do you think I will still be able to buy Receivers for it in the future?
