M11 setup tips

So I just bought a m11 dsss today, and was wondering what types of functions and setups you guys use. This is going into a Hot Bodies D8 so if any of you guys could post some of the setup functions you use that would be great. I am reading the manual as of right now and this thing just has sooo many options. Trying to see what is good to use or not.

Funny, I just got mine today as well. bought it used from this site. Holy crap its like a laptop with a trigger and steering wheel.

Anyway, I was wondering the same thing, I run nitro offroad and was interested in the dual rate and mixing options. I am kinda a twitchy driver and I wonder if this would help slow down my inputs when at full throttle to keep the buggy stable.?

Ill keep watching this thread

there is no magical setup tips for a radio. Just make the servos turn the right way. The only thing I would setup is you end points. make you don't drive your servo too far.

In these type of radio 2 channels may give a little quicker response than 4 channel. Unless you are running a vehicle that has more than 2 servos (steering and throttle) then keep it in 2 channels

Your transponder has nothing to do with how channels your radio uses. The transponder plugs into an aux port on your receiver.

Pass you all soon...

A similar type of wire of the EXACT SAME LENGTH should do just fine.

best advice i can give is that u'll never use all the function, u'll never understand all the functions, so leave them alone and work with what u would normally and KISS. thats what i do. heck it still in the bad, havent used it yet in almost 2yrs now since i bought it. still on the trusty m8

The transponder plugs into the receiver so you need a minimum of three channels.
Your steering and throttle use 1 and 2 then the transponder would plug into 3.

I think that in 2,4Gh is more complicated!!

staikosn1 02-09-2009 11:05 AM

I ve heard that the 2,4 is not as simple as common receiver!!!!!!!!is that true?
