Protek Lipo problems

I am having problems charging a new protek 2200maH 14.8V Lipo on my swallow 2 charger. The charger charges all my other lipos but says "output circuit error" when I try and charge this pack. On the multimeter, the pack reads 15.8V, which I would think is about right. I pu i on the balancer, and that seems to recognise it ok. I don't have another charger to try it on.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on ?

Thanks.

I don't have this charger, but the error message may be related to your charging leads. I know my Hyperion charger is sensitive to what gage and length wire is used to connect batt to charger. What are you using for charge leads?

I'm using banana plugs out of the charger connected by a short wire to an ultra plug. Tried charging it throught the hyperion balancer also, that doesnt work either. Might try some longer leads. Thanks

Actually I think the problem may be on the charging end after all. Just thinking about it, the charger would not charge a 14.4 V NiMH pack either, so it seems to have problems with higher voltage packs.
