fixing a reciever ant

my son drove his car around w/out the lid on, flipped it and the reciever antenna wire ripped off about 3 inches from the reciever.
what kind of wire is best to use to make it longer and usable again?

Most hobby shops sell replacement antenna wires. That's what I use.
