Broken EX-10 Helio's Case! Help!
 

Hey guys,
i know its saturdayand I can't get in touch with KO Propo until monday. However has anybody any clue how much the replacement cost of both plastic case halves for the Helios radio costs plus a battery door? basically all the plastic shelling needs to be renewed as well as the battery door.

Anybody any idea?:confused:

i have no ideahow much, but i am curious as to why, did it get run over:confused:

haha, well i used a really abrasive cleaner and it melted the plastic and sealed the battery door shut, i had to pry it off:eek:

Your looking at about $110.00 to get the radio fixed. They are extremely quick. Mine only stayed at KO propo for one day and it was on it's way back
they do a real good job with repairs they will probally calibrated it also.

$110? thats rediculous, it's plastic shells...there not open yet which sucks.

I think front and rear halfs go for about 45.00 a piece. plus shipping. I may be wrong. Just shoot them a bell and get a firm quote. All of my screws were stripped and the front case was cracked. It cost me 109.00. That's the one thing I don't like about the Helios EX-10 is the plastics they use are very fragile. I guess they do this to keep the weight down.

When I ran the Hitec CRX. My son twisted the steering wheel off and Hitec replaced the entire transmitter for free including shipping. This happen twice. I love Hitec's customer service.
