BL Performance Question

Hey

I bought a new Team Powers 10.5BL on the weekend (re-branded SP I think)..

The issue I have is out of some corners it seems to be really punchy and quick and other corners it seems to be very flat and slow... I've never encountered it before on any motor I've used

I am using a Speed Passion GT vr1.1...

Any thoughts/suggestions?

 Any similarity in the corners where you like it or don't? For example does it seem good in fast corners but not in slow or vica versa?
What car, what gearing? What are your timing settings?

MMmm doesn't seem to have a pattern like that... some slow corners it really jumps out of and others it seems to be really slow like being over geared...

Car is a ta03F... with a final ratio of approx 4.0:1... which seems over-geared to me but wasn't reflected in temp, or performance with shorter gearing in earlier runs

The only thing might be is that I wasn't at my home track and the track I was at, my cars have always "looked" slow, no matter what the times say

Perhaps try a lower timing setting if you have it set high. When I tried lots of timing I lost punch out of the corners. I seem to get the best results around setting #4 or 5 or so, with 17.5 ~ 10.5 motors, offroad. Maybe even less with hotter winds.

Thanks for the info... I was wondering about the timing at the time
