programmable brushless speedo under $60?

i'm concidering the brushless system noone really wants but we get because it's cheap. hobbywing 60a + 5.5t brushless motor for about $100

has anyone here used the hobbywing 60a for racing? is it reliable? i really like the simple program card.

is there a better quality brushless programmable speedo in same price range...say under $70?? are there any cheapish brushless speedos with program cards/pc link? i really like having programable options.

thanks

One of the guys at our club has one in his B4 and it is a WEAPON!

We race fairly casual, so it's not up against the top-end gear, but i'd say it will be fine until you are good enough to feel the difference in fine tuning options the top gear would provide. I am only a beginner to racing, so I haven't been caught up in all the marketing hype of the top manufacturers

Mind you, i'm happy with a Sidewinder ESC and 19 turn brushed :)

Regardless of brand, I think that falls under the "always has been that way, always will be that way rule of thumb sort of things.
