ice charger to charge core lipo's
will they charge without a balancer ? are core 5000 lipo's good batteries?

Your lipos will charge without a balancer. Do you have a voltmeter? You can ck the individual cell voltages using the balance tap. If you can't ck the cell voltages, I'd get a balancer as soon as I could. Get one that will charge and balance at he same time - you'll get the best charge using this type of balancer.
If Core lipos are made from pretty good quality cells, they will stay close to balanced, but you still need a balancer to keep them optimum. One thing I've read about is the cells stay closer to balanced when the lipo is charged at lower than 1C rates - this takes more time so its a trade off for slightly better balance versus longer wait for charge to complete.
I really don't know anything about Core lipos though.
