TEAM CHECKPOINT 1030 CHARGER
Just picked one up and I must say Although it is an I.C.E. with a different name on it . They took care of all the reasons I never bought an I.C.E.. The checkpoint comes with the same warranty. Backlit display , 30 AMP!!!! Discharge and the capability to charge 4cell lipo if ever needed. The price on this charger just dropped from 179 to 129. So unless the I.C.E. drops conciderably in price I would say the TC1030 is a slam dunk

ill let ya know when that happens. there is a tech bulliten about that on the website. The problem has arised from discharging multiple packs back to back at 30amps. Typical chargers use a bank of resistors to discharge packs. The ICE and this charger use a feedback system that dissapates heat through the transistors. From what i can see as long as you run the fan constant and do not obstuct airflow around the heatsink it will be fine

Wow - that sux - my Ice finally gave it up about 3 weeks ago and I bought one of these to replace it with basically because of it's discharge capability, but paid $179 for mine. Darn Tower, they'll be getting mine back or I'll be getting the $50 diff back.
