Mamba Monster
 

I saw castle has the MM linked with a Neu motor, is it capable to using any brushless motor, like a novak 7.5 or 5.5?
What would be the draw backs of running this in a 1/10 truck?

I don't know anything about the Monster Max other than I want one :) Thinking of converting a Jammin X2 with all the new castle kit next year..

I do however have a Mamba Max in my Rustler (non-VXL but upgraded past VXL spec) and that packs a real punch.

castle creations ESCs don't work very well with novak motors, yes they work, but the COG like theres no tomarow.

Castle got a license from Steve Neu for his motor design and the motor that's part of the combo pkg is a chinese built, Neu design, licensed motor. It is his design, but chinese made. They are as good or better than the orig Neu motors.

You can buy just the esc if thats all you're really interested in.
