Setting up a Tekin RS ESC
 

Hi,

this is my first build, and i have just come to try and get the car running and i am having a small problem.

i am trying to calibrate my radio, so hold down the mode button for three seconds, it finds neutral and then just flashes and beeps on the VC light constantly until turned off.

any help or folk who have come across this before would be grately appreciated.

After it beeps in neutral give it full throttle until it beeps again then go full brake until it beeps then return to neutral then the lights will flash and it will exit setup on its own. Hope this helps.

Not sure what radio you're using, but there's a pretty well known issue with Futaba transmitters and the RS. If yours is a Futaba, go into the servo reverse menu and reverse the throttle channel. After that your RS should calibrate fine.

If you're not using Futaba gear, I'm out of ideas...
